Northern Prince LNG is a Canadian Federally incorporated Company created to advance small and mid-scale LNG export facilities that will deliver competitively priced, consistent volumes, of liquified natural gas from Canada to destinations in Asia and Europe. We are displacing coal and diesel in those markets supporting global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Here in British Columbia our facilities will have ultra-low carbon emissions driven by extensive use of hydro-electric power, novel technical applications and, of course, taking advantage of Canada’s frigid ambient temperatures reducing power consumption 1.7% for each degree cooler.

 

British Columbia has abundant natural gas, over 2,900 trillion cubic feet, and a world leading regulatory framework providing unmatched levels of environmental stewardship. Our gas has limited access to markets and struggles to find commercially attractive terms. Our topography makes coastal delivery complex and historical LNG proposals have found the landscape challenging. Our founders have decades of international energy experience and a proven track record of navigating the complex Canadian geographical, political and regulatory frameworks. Our team has been built to support fast-moving projects working with existing infrastructure to reduce costs and timelines sending our clean-burning natural gas to where it is urgently needed.

 

Northern Prince has been shaped around current gas and LNG market drivers. Our projects reflect decades of work that confirm both the technical, social and economic strengths of our concepts. We are working closely with our First Nations partners to ensure the best possible local outcomes at all sites.  Northern Prince is now entering the next stage and advancing our projects.

Northern Prince LNG Inc. has received its initial LNG Export Permit from the Canada Energy Regulator (“CER”) and the Company anticipates moving to longer term permits on a project-by-project basis.  The Company has arranged to acquire an active LNG Facilities Permit and is finalizing its first SPA in support of the first of a number of small-scale projects.  We have executed HOA’s for 6MMTPA for our larger project and are preparing our next capital raise to support the regulatory and engineering effort to bring that larger opportunity to fruition.
